Important

All Linux VPS on CloudAfra use dynamic IP addresses.
This means your IP will automatically change every time you stop & start your VPS.

A. Steps to Change Your IP Address

  1. Login to CloudAfra Member Area

  2. Go to Services → Your VPS → Service Action

  3. Click Stop

  4. Wait a few seconds

  5. Click Start

✅ Your VPS will now have a new IP address.

If you still cannot ping or access your VPS, you should open Port on Firewall section.

B. Open Port on the Firewall of our Linux VPS

To open a port on your Linux VPS firewall, please follow the steps below:

  1. Open your VPS control panel and go to the Firewall section.

  2. Click Add Rule.

  3. Enter the specific port number you want to open, or select All TCP + UDP if you want to allow all ports.
    In the Source IP field, enter: 0.0.0.0/0.
